Self-regulating heating cable 20W/m
Self-regulating heating cable 20W/m is suitable for use in gutters, roofs, roof wells, rainwater funnels and sewer pipes to prevent freezing. The self-regulating heating cable can also be used to drain the condensate produced by the heat pump or air conditioner in winter. For heating the hydrophore, the expansion tank from freezing. The best energy-saving result is always achieved with a thermostat. Read more about it below.
Price 6.80/m
The self-regulating heating cable 20W/m is particularly suitable for installation in the gutter, SBS bitumen coated roof and sewer pipe or inside the pipe. The heating cable reacts to the ambient temperature and adjusts its output power accordingly.
The size of the drum is about 300 m, and you get a particularly good price if you buy a whole drum at once.
The characteristics of the self-regulating heating cable make installation very easy. The cable can be cut to the desired length during installation. The heating cable is installed in the gutter with special clamps or fixed using weatherproof silicone glue.
The biggest advantage of the self-regulating heating cable is the ability to cut it to very precise dimensions directly on the construction site and, if necessary, branch out in three or four directions as needed: rainwater runoff pipes from the roof, rainwater gutters to the vessels / to the right, roof sinks, etc. During installation, it must be ensured that the heating cables do not exceed the maximum section lengths allowed for them. This information is shared by the customer support of the heating cable seller or see the specification below. The heating cables are marked with a meter marking printed on them, which helps to easily measure the appropriate lengths.
Important to know: The self-regulating heating cable changes its meter power depending on the temperature of the surrounding environment, but it never switches itself off permanently. As can be seen from the technical data, the self-regulating heating cable has a meter power of 20W/m at +10 degrees in a dry environment, but in the gutter or sewer, the heating cable could be switched off if the temperature in the sewer pipe or in the case of gutter cables in the outside air is above +3C degrees. This energy saving can easily be ensured by using a thermostat sold as an additional product.
